Why do dogs like your knickers? When two new dogs meet where is the first place they usually "check out" on the other dog? I know with my two boys they go straight for the smelliest spot!!! Could be that's why they like your previously worn underwear and socks too! GROSS! :cool1: :o

My Gretchen(Lab/Rott) has a lot of funny quirks, when someone comes to the door she needs to raid something. If I have baskets of clean clothes to fold she'll steal a sock or washcloth, if the baskets aren't available she'll raid the bathroom garbage and carry around a nasty tissue. :niedowiarek: YUK. Her favorite nose spot is the privates :o , and she LOVES to lick feet, I tell everyone she has a foot fetish. :roll:
Maisy my youngest JRT , she tries to get to your face, she just loves to lick your face till you can't breathe. :P Maisy loves to eat out of the bathroom garbage ( time of the month items) :o so now they get directly deposited into the kitchen garbage. Ewwww..... :drinking:

Ehem... Ben likes to smell (an lick) dad's butt when he's sleeping... He told me once that he wonderd why his long johns were wet... Ben had been licking them during the night!! :roll: :o EWWWW!! GROSS!!!

Ben allso likes to lick you between your toes. And if you have footsweat, it's just much better, he ENJOYS licking them. He lies down infront of your feet and licks you between your toes with his eyes closed! And then (if you let him) he slowly puts his head on your feet and falls asleep! :o

Elle likes to lay on the pillow and lick her daddie's hair while he watches tv, she licks toes, smells belly buttons, likes to look in the bathroom garbage pail (I had to buy one with a lid), she likes dirty socks, dirty underoos, and maxi pads..... That ones too embarrasing to tell :oops:

The only dogs of mine that as ever got clothes out the basket etc, is Penny our Border Collie/Springer Spaniel.....she used to be a little terror when left and couldn't be trusted in the house on her own :o so eventually we got her a crate for her own safety, not only was she a clothes pincher but also a book and wire chewer. Yes not only Penny but Charlie (Bullmastiff) also had this thing for wires....he must have chewed the phone wires a number of times :o
I think crates are very useful for naughty dogs WHEN YOU CAN'T BE THERE WITH THEM :roll:

I don't understand why a dog would want to go into a basket full of dirty clothes....LOL yuk, Um must be the smell :-?
