Bronxie Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 :o Yup they do. I was putting away my laundry and there were my socks balled up. She tried to take one and I told her "no" so she leaves it, lays a fart and walks away. I was left with her little stinker smell surrounding my clean clothes *Note to self* Give Elle an old pair of balled up socks :o Quote
Bronxie Posted May 13, 2003 Author Posted May 13, 2003 Those things are deadly man! I should do it to her see if she likes it :evilbat: Quote
bk_blue Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 ROFL!! Of course they do, dogs as part of the family have to ACT like part of the family (teenage brothers I'm thinking of here). Quote
sheltielover Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 My lab/mix Licky does stuff like that. If I am on the computer for too long, she will walk in the computer room, fart and walk out. Quote
marion Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 So Funny. Ruby and Rosie love socks. Ruby goes in the wardrobe and nicks them. I once took them to the home of some friends and Ruby was running in and out, she pinched the ornaments from the side of the tv and when we went outside in the garden to find them the lady's dirty knickers were all over the lawn. She'd nicked them out of the laundry basket.   BUT WHY ONLY THE KNICKERS? :D Good job she likes dogs and had a sense of humour. :D Quote

behle Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Elle is gorgeous! :iloveyou: Let's think "like a dog" about the dirty knickers being the favored item to drag out of the laundry bin and drape around after giving them a good sniff! Why do dogs like your knickers? When two new dogs meet where is the first place they usually "check out" on the other dog? I know with my two boys they go straight for the smelliest spot!!! Could be that's why they like your previously worn underwear and socks too! GROSS! :cool1: :o Quote
Crested Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Ehem! That's NOTHING!! Here's a VERY MUCH shortend version of Ben's life story:  - First week home, took a pair of my dirty knickers and carried them under the rocking chair. - Two weeks later, I found them one morning on the middle of the livingroom floor - Opening the wardrobe door means you have to run around the house trying to get two socks from Ben's mouth - If you do the "ignore-your-dog" -game when he's been bad, he takes your newest shoe and chews it up IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!! - He has destroyed so far: 2 phillows, 1 bed sheet (and I mean a REAL big bed's sheet, not some little baby sheet!), god knows how many pens and pencils, dousinds of bills and receats, the shield for the computers USB portal, the little brush for the Philishave shaver after just 15 minutes after it was bought, a doorhandle, all four ends of the rocking chair, millions of peaces of firewood... I could go on forever... - After giving Ben a bath and a shave for tidying him up and makeing him just more handsome, he runs around the house putting every single carpet in the house in a little "ball" and comes back, makes a big fart and goes to sleep on the sofa! I guess I'll end the list here... but I could go on forever!! And he's not even TWO yet!!!!!!!! /Crest Quote
marion Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Bronxie, must be something about Gun Dogs because Ruby likes to lick bellybuttons :o Quote
Crested Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 marion napisał(a):Bronxie, must be something about Gun Dogs because Ruby likes to lick bellybuttons :o Ehem... Ben likes to smell (an lick) dad's butt when he's sleeping... He told me once that he wonderd why his long johns were wet... Ben had been licking them during the night!! :o EWWWW!! GROSS!!! Ben allso likes to lick you between your toes. And if you have footsweat, it's just much better, he ENJOYS licking them. He lies down infront of your feet and licks you between your toes with his eyes closed! And then (if you let him) he slowly puts his head on your feet and falls asleep! :o It looks actually really cute, but... I can't imagine how goss it tastes!! :-? /Crest Quote
sheltielover Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 My sheltie LOVES to lick!!!! Especially my husbands feet! Actually, she will lick any exposed skin she can find. Quote
StarFox Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 Ahahaha..I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Your guys' story's about your dogs are great! :P Zebra takes my dirty undies and socks too. I have no clue where he gets them though. It's soo gross because he takes them and runs and if i try to take them away he growls at me. He also takes my undies and brings them to my dad or brother and shows them what he has. It's soo embarassing!!!! But I'm thankful that he dosn't fart.....yet. :) Quote
sheltielover Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 When I first got my sheltie Honey, she was terrible with taking stuff. I was still living at home, and my dad came in the house with of all things, my BRA!! Honey had taken it and left it in the back yard!!! Now, we have a problem with both of them chewing holes in the sheets after my husband and I, um......you know. Quote
