Do I need a prespcription from the vet to start Elle on a flea or heartworm medication? :o

I don't know about USA but over here the really good medications and spot ons are dispensed by the amount you need for the weight of your dog.
My vets do this at the surgery before they give you the dose.
The stuff I use is only available at the vets-the best stuff usually is !

For a Heartworm medication you will require a blood test be done before putting your dog on it.
