Jerakeen Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Here is a picture one one of my 'sons' can you guess his parents? Bec Quote
Luka-pop Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 looks like a dal and an airedale type terrier (because of the fuzzies around his mouth). Quote
behle Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Dalmatian & Pit? I really have no idea! But gosh, he is a VERY HANDSOME BOY!!!! :buzi: Quote
Jerakeen Posted April 6, 2003 Author Posted April 6, 2003 Well so far no correct guesses! So here is a little clue for you. This is a picture of his brother (also owned by me) which I think gives a lot of clues away! The white one is called Bailey and this one is called Red for obvious reasons. Sorry to those who can't get the piccie but I don't know what to do about that! Any more guesses? Bec Quote

Jerakeen Posted April 6, 2003 Author Posted April 6, 2003 I know but everyone will be shocked when they find out especially which way round it was :D Bec Quote
imported_Foster Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Actually looks like a border jack to me (border collie-jack russell mi)... Quote
Prairie_Gurl Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Rhodesian (sp) Ridgeback? Pit? Border collie? Lab? Sheltie? Terrier of some sort? (hey, maybe if I name all the breeds in the world I'll get it right!!) Quote
Malamum Posted April 7, 2003 Posted April 7, 2003 Got to say I have no idea - I'm hopeless at this game but wanted to say they are very cute. Quote
Jerakeen Posted April 7, 2003 Author Posted April 7, 2003 OK their parents are; Father - Boxer, Mother - Parson Russell Terrier :D! I own both parents so I know that to be true! I didn't see them 'at it' so didn't know she was preganant till she started to show at 4 weeks! Despite my 'predicitions' as to what colours they woudl come out I had 3 Boxer marked and 3 white with patches, unfortunately of the 6 boys that were born only 3 survived. Bailey and Red, who is brain damaged and suffered lots of problems as a result of the traumatic birth due to the size of the pups. But they are the sweetest natured dogs (bar my poodles) I own :D Bec Quote
Jerakeen Posted April 7, 2003 Author Posted April 7, 2003 I own 13 dogs of this only 4 are currently entire. The mother of Red & Bailey, Polly, has only just had her season after having the pups nearly a year later so she will be spayed in May 3 months after her season. One of my poodles will be done once she's had her first season. The other poodle I'm hoping to breed from as I am my Dachshund just depends whether they pass the relevant health tests for their breed. I only breed when I want to keep a puppy! Bec Quote
Jerakeen Posted April 7, 2003 Author Posted April 7, 2003 It'll be 14 at the end of the year have a Schapendoes coming from Finland! Then that's it until youngest is old enough (or suitable enough) to have babies probably when she's about 3. I like to leave my pups until they have had one season to make sure everything is functioning OK. However, Tala, the poodle in question, has deformed 'bits' so I really want to make sure there are no other problems with her. I don't actually think she will ever have a season so when she hits 2 and no seasons she will be done! Bec Quote
