If we don't find a home for Ike (the stray dog I found) in the next couple weeks we're gonna keep him! I love this dog already. He follows me everywhere I go.

Here's a cute picture of him.

I'm not sure if i want to keep his name though. Any ideas on names?

I KNEW this was going to happen - it was meant to be Lucky....

I like Ike....

Just before I scrolled down to see your post, I was thinking 'Lucky would suit him, both in looks and circumstance...'

Actually it wasen't me who decided to keep him. I of course wanted to keep him since I found out he was abandoned but my parents were like, no way two dogs are more then enough! But he's so sweet that they couldn't resist him.

I'M SOOO JEALOUS!!!!!! (as usual lol) I like the name Ick, but I like the name Lucky too. Ick I like more because it's more original... not just an everyday-sort-of-name. I'm all for original names. (as I'm sitting here with dogs named Rocky and Shadow *sigh*) LOL.

Maybe you could go with Lucky and Lucky2. One of my college profs bred and mushed Mals, his lead dog was Suzy(Q) and when she had a litter one of the females he chose to keep, and who was incorporated into his team, was very much like Suzy(Q) so he called her Suzy(2). He actually calls them both just Suzy but they seem to be able to differentiate who he means.
I like the gaelic names better though.

He's a Lucky dog, no matter what you name him! It's just great that he found YOU, instead of some other person that would just have let him stay alone and homeless at the park!!!

Well I've decided to keep his name. I really don't want to confuse him to much ands he's finally started to listen to it. he got in a fight with Lucky this morning, not a major one and both of them are fine, but I really dont want this to turn out like what happened with Koda (A german shepherd we were looking after, they got in a really bad fight with a little blood) But I don't think it will.

He looks (from what I can see) and acts (in the picture) like Calliope. I took a long time choosing her name...everyone got on me for giving her such an odd name that I told them my next male would be named Ichabod. =)
