JackieMaya Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 Here is a picture of the hole that my girls, Jackie and Maya, dug next to the house. and here is a picture of the proud girls showing off their work. Quote
bk_blue Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003   reminds me of BK's handiwork!! Did they get out, or did they just dig for the fun of it? Quote
snowdogs Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003  That sounds like my huskies. they like to arrange my landscaping too. I have holes all over my back yard and they seem to want to do it right next to the patio so you have to watch where you walk in my back yard. They are almost always orange. Here is South carolina we had red clay as out dirt so they are dirty all of the time. I have a white husky that stays orange in color for the most part of his life and they are inside dogs. I can imagine what they would look like if theywere outside dogs Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 LOL hire them out for digging new landscaping :D Quote
Rosebud Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003  Now that makes me feel pretty darn lucky. My babies are not really big diggers they prefer to do the weeding, pruning and harvesting of what I try to keep planted in the ground. I have opps had a large holly bush that is now nothing but a bunch of sticks sticking out of the ground. Quote
courtnek Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 My yellow lab/Golden digs like he's a contractor trying to create a swimming pool.....I have holes with bricks in them all over the place. It doesnt do any good to put the dirt back in, that's just a challenge to dig it all out again.....If I ever wanted to put in a pool, I know where I would go to have it dug out..... LOL :D Quote
Prairie_Gurl Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 My dogs dig like there's no tomorrow!!! So, we gave them a "designated digging spot" but they dig anywhere but there!!! lol. Rocky also loves to hop into my window sill (my room's in the basement) and paint my window with nose prints. lol. Quote
Malamum Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 ahwwww.... they look so proud :D And I thought the holes in my backyard were bad - now they don't seem to as much  Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Ha! And I thought Hazel was bad! :o I usually try to use her digging whenever I can, like this winter, when shoveling she was always out there helping! I would like to make her her own "sand box" and teach her to dig in only that spot...
