Whats the deal my dog is now pooping green, and its runny. I thought maybe it was because if nerves or whatever but it has been going on for most of the weekend. The vet said that if he wsnt better in a few days give him a call!!? is that okay, it just sounds bad to me. But he isnt lethargic or anything he runs and jumps all day long and plays like only a puppy can, he just poops really really nasty and it smells gross, i mean even for dog poo, its pretty bad.

ideas?

I did buy him green dental treats this weekend. BUt does that also make it runny? when we are home the bakc door stay open and he can run into the backyard if he want to. when he goes out i usually go out with him to watch him. he is always chewing on something, i feel like every other word to him is "out!" sometimes he will drop what is in his mouth and he gets praised but other times i wont notice it until he is swallowing and licking his lips. (2 late).

My dogs never had green runny poos with greenies but everyone is different. I know there is a people floo that does very little except make you feel a bit off and give you greenish or bluish poos, hehe blue poo floo. Oh dear, I'm a simpleton. Anyway I would give it a couple days, not give him any greenies and see how he does, if no better, off to the vet.

It might. It might take him a bit to get used to them. Kato poops green, but he only got the runs the first couple times. They don't stink too bad though either - as far as poo can smell "nice".
