She's 4 months old now and has lost about 5 teeth, but shes not acting like a normal puppy when there teething. she's not chewing more then usual or crying like Lucky did. She hasn't lost her teeth on her own they seem to be getting pulled out with alot of blood. Like when she with playing with her doggy friend Honey and 2 of her teeth got stuck in Honey's fur. And when she was playing tug-o-war with Lucky. I thought that most puppies lost their teeth at 5-6 months? Anyway i just want to know if this is normal. any help would be really great. Quote
cairnmom Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 Frodo lost all but two of his baby teeth (those were taken out when he was neutered). I never noticed blood or extra chewing. Guess he swallowed all of them. Ewww. :oops: Quote
Malamum Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 Yep sounds pretty normal. Indy started loosing his teeth at around 4/5 months. The first tooth he lost came out when we were at the dog beach and he was playing quite rough with another dog and there was lots of blood. Yep - I had a bit of a panic and was all worried :roll: Anyway after that I started finding his cute little doggie teeth all round the house. Quote
