JackieMaya Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 I took my two dogs (Jackie and Maya) to the vet yesterday so Jackie could get her shots, and Maya got a stitch taken out of her foot. The vet still had to clip Jackie's toenails, so I put Maya in my Pathfinder for about 5 minutes so that I didn't have to deal with both puppies at once. Well, when I got back to my Pathfinder, Maya had barfed in the back seat. When she gets nervous, she barfs. She must have been nervous about being left there without Jackie. So I cleaned up the barf in the back seat and put it in the garbage. It came time to go to work, and I couldn't find my frickin keys ANYWHERE. After 15 minutes of looking, I called my supervisor to tell her that I was still looking for my keys and I would be late (she's cool). After looking EVERYWHERE for 30 minutes, I decided to look in Maya's barf bag that was already in the garbage, and lo and behold, there were my keys. At least they weren't in one of the three full bags of dog poop that I had picked up within the last two days after all the snow melted! The temps have been in the 50s, and the foot of snow that we had on the ground is ALL gone. Quote
bk_blue Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 LOL, well at least you found them in the end! :drinking: Quote

Prairie_Gurl Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 He he he. When I take Shadow for a walk I usually grave the mail (which requires a key in my neighborhood). I clip the key to her leash so I won't lose it... ha ha. A number of times I've lost those keys when I got home... so much for the "to not lose the keys hook them to your dog" thing. When all else fails check the dog leashes!!! lol Quote

bk_blue Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 I think it was last year when I was at the park with BK and he started screaming like a banshee and limping- he'd hurt his hind leg, maybe pulled a muscle or something. I panicked and picked him up intending to go straight home and make him rest, and in the confusion I dropped my keys only realising when I got to the car that I had lost them... so I went back and combed the park for them (and it is a BIG park) in vain while Mr Drama Queen happily ran around not showing any signs of limping (I got mum to come and give me her key to the car in the end). It cost me a bundle to get my keys recut too! :-? :drinking: Quote
