Guest Anonymous Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 I've been thinking that maybe it's time to start taking Hazel into town again? Remember before we had a little scare with her, she bit someone and so it was "back to boot camp for Hazel"? Well, I think she's doing really good around the house, 'pecially with new people comming over, and stuff, and she's been doing really well when it comes to listening to me, so I'm wondering if it's time to get her OUT THERE nad getting socialized again? What do you guys think? Or is it too soon? Of course I'd bring the Muzzel too, just in case, and all that stuff, and take all percausions, there's no change in that... but maybe it would be good to get her out again? She has been rather restless too... Maybe just take her into town to walk around. Okay, and for those of you who don't know, I'll explain what a typical day in my town is like! LOL just in case your thinking I live in a busy city! There are very few people, you pass about maybe 15 people when walking from one side of "town", to the other, and most of them are avoidable by moving across the street ect. There aren't many cars going around, most are parked, and the noise level is relitavely low. So what do you think? Quote
courtnek Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 I would try it - but definitely take the muzzle. just in case. She may become less aggressive as she gets more socialized...as long as you keep her under control she should be ok. Good luck! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Thanks! Yeah, change of plans though, Not going in today, and 2moro My dad won't be home... so maybe I can get a ride with him into town on Monday when he goes into work, then Hazel and I could just stay at my friend's house for the day... but I duno, that's a BIG maybe, so we'll see... when I do though, I will let you guys know how it went! :D Quote

DogPaddle Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Your doing great with Hazel, if you feel pretty confident I'd go, no sense doing all that work only to stop now. Yay Hazel! :multi: Quote
