Perhaps the proposed rule about deleting people who dont post for a certain time is being a bit harsh unless perhaps you would be looking at a fairly long stretch, say, 12 months. I have not posted here for a while, finding it hard to work up the enthusiasim since losing Ben BUT I still like to visit the forums and would like to continue to think of myself as still a member.

OKay I have been gone for a week of blissful training and playing with the newest addition, i come back and there is turmoil, What did i miss? Can I get the short, short, short version, summed up in like a sentence or two? Summing up - We are discussing what the actual rules of Dogo should be, how long inactive accounts should be left and If we should take action regarding Laduenda based on what someone else wrote that she supposedly wrote on another board. I think.

After skimming that posts it looks like we are debating on weather or not to ban her based on somethin she did on another board, thats crazy what is this Big Brother? If thats the case then most of us would probably be guilty of doing something when we are not on this board that someone would find offensive, she MIGHT fight her dogs but you cant prove is hmmmm openly states that he fights dogs and is allowed to stay, so there cant be two sets of rules based on the fact that you like hmm and got off to a rocky start wit Lad. IF you guys are going to run the board in that way I wouldnt feel right taking part in discussions here. She doesnt bring that talk here out of respect for us and our views, and you guys are using that against her. whats up with that?

This shouldnt even be a topic its dumb to even suggest a ban based on that.

That is understandible but I do believe that many a good debate has also come from those posts not only shedding light for the poster but in doing research to answer and be invloved has inadvertantly given more understanding to all of the answering parties as well. But if you look at Lads post initailly i would say she came in with thunder and was more telling us, but the posts have taken a huge 180 and are now more on the posting of questions and asking more than telling the entire demanor has changed in her posts, now because of the initail most people are still responding with hostility and fueling thier own fires, you cant hold her to blame for that and railroad her from the site because we are having trouble letting it go. JMO, of course but if you do a little back reading you will see the validity of it.

Rott see the thread entitled "does laduenda fight her dogs?"- I too think that posting stuff from another board in order to make a forum member look bad is not on. It's forum land and you take people at face value because there's no other way to do it. Let Laduenda (or anyone else for that matter) be judged by what she does HERE.

How is the new addition??

I am head over heels for the little guy. He is so cute we actually decided to change the name it was a last minute thing that we did on the way to the airport. the official name is no longer Trace he is now Dreydin. K and I were worried about the ears and while they are short they look very good now. I am thinking that with some size to his little melon head they will look great. He has these beautiful ghostly grey eyes, that are breath-taking. He is quite a personality, and he hates the vacum unlike all my other dogs he doesnt run from it though, he runs to it and bites it!!! So we crate him up during cleaning times. He loves to chew on stuff too ropes, stuffed animals, socks, bones whatever. But by far the number one compliment I get on him is his demeanor he isnt high strung he is ontent to just lay around the house and chew a ball, when we go out walking he isnt lunging on the leash or dragging me to sniff stuff either. I just hope that he stays this way. Everyone that has laid eyes on him is really taken aback at him. I am even stunned as to how good this dog looks, if i had the money back i would buy him again without question. He is perfect. Once i get the cable modem up and running we will get you guys some current pics of him doing his thing(mostly sleeping) or layingin the sun in he bakyard.

I'd say 20 regulars max with as many occaisonals and about that many once in a blue moon sort of posters. Maybe we should spread Dogos name around our training class and maybe around work there are plenty of dog owners here.
