I TOLD everyone not to do ANYTHING while I was gone! :lol: I talked to the breeder, and I was amazed at how small the dals were! :o They were about the size of whippets! (or smaller!) I think they were 19 inches. Are they breeding them smaller? I learn that I don't want to show...to hectic! No peace and quiet and all those people! :o I think I'll just hang and do agility with my future dog. By the way, if you want to see a rescue dog I'm considering I have the pics and info in Dog in Need. Quote

I was sick, and I still came on here everyday, just only enough to read like one post, and I feel MONTHS behind!! Size of a Whippet eh? WOW! They MUST be breeding them smaller! Last I checked they were about the size of a Lab! :lol: So did you not end up getting a "mini dal"? LOL How could you say a show is more hectic then Agility! LOL Agility is SO hectic! LOL FUN, but everything moves so fast, and there's always excitement around! (I sure miss doing it in front of people, even though I only did in front of our "whole town" once, but I miss being in the class even!) Do tell us, ALL the details of what happened please! :D Quote

Way to go Lab :D I wouldnt show either, too must hassle i think, being busy and all with sneering breeders its enough to put anyone off showing. I just stand back and watch, more interesting...as well has taking a look round the stalls. Quote

I'm going away for a weekend (girls weekend) in Feb and I'll be so lost when I get back into town! I'm thinking about seeing if work has a lap top I can "keep at home" for emergencies, and take it with me on the trip! :lol: The girls would KILL me! Quote

Dals are not supposed to be huge...I think the girls are supposed to be around 20-21 inches at the shoulder...not sure...
