ArtfulDodger Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 nothing is better for dog's than meat, I feel sorry for the dogs that are forced to eat rice and lentils bcause their owner is a vegetarian. Yes, I do know vege's that feed their dogs sheep food, I think it is cruelty personally. A dog is supposed to eat flesh, the warmer the better. Quote

Some veggies are good for the dog as well... provide lots of good vitamins and such. Think of it, in the wild they did eat some berries and stuff too ( I know my dog does when I take her on nature walks! LOL) and they would also eat the stomachs of the animals they killed, which consisted of veggies too! Quote

They are also completely digestible. I give Kato one once a week to help clean his teeth and freshen his breath. He loves them. Quote
