Guest Anonymous Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 Kenzo. He KNOWS better than to chew on our shoes. Yes, they have a doggy door with full access to the house and yard when we are at work. Yesterday, my husband found one of his shoes next to the back door (where the doggy door is). It wasn't touched.... We have found countless things in the yard that they have taken out there. But this shoe was right next to the door as if to say "I know I'm not supposed to chew on it, and I didn't, but I AM mad at you for leaving me here all day and I'm showing you this by taking your shoe to the door." Do you think that's what he was doing? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 probably not...the shoes smell very strongly of the shoe's owner. he may have been lonely and was using it as a security blanket of sorts. I leave the dogs in my bedroom with some dirty clothes on the floor so they don't miss me so much when I'm gone... He may also be a smuggler...smuggling items here and there, just because it's an activity. Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 My first Dobie Brianna did something similar to this she would get any sock, shoes, shirts, and pile them up on the couch and lay on them. I thought it was so wierd, she never chewed them she just wanted to lay on my stuff. weird right? Quote
