We went to the vets on the 31st and he went to sleep in my arms I felt his little heart stop beating and then he was free of pain .Thanks for your support its nice to talk to people who understand its amazing how ordinary people(non doggies) dont get it I had a friend ask me to go shopping on the day before (our last day together )I was so mad with her . I cant remember ever having cried so much in all my life and gee its hard to type when your crying . Ickle (hope I spelt that right) that was a lovely poem thank you very much . Im going to go and post a memorial for him in the pic section for those that are interested thanks again Quote

alicat613 Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 Oh Koolie, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It's so hard to lose a pet after a good long life, I can't imagine dealing with it so early. But I know he had a wonderful and happy life, and passed on knowing he was loved. Quote
