Guest Anonymous Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 As many of you know, my granddog, Milo (Shiba), lives with my brother and his wife. Milo, is a digger. I know we have had posts on here before about digging (I think it was about BK) but I can't remember the advise. We've heard about putting their poo in the holes, but Milo just digs it back up. I've heard of cayenne pepper....and tobassco sauce.... Any other suggestions for this little booger? By the way, I got him a Christmas gift. A new tag for his collar that reads Trouble In A Fur Coat....how true. Quote
Carolk9s Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 Is it random digging or digging at the fence with the express purpose of bustin out? How old is he? My youngest still digs now and then, very nice when mowing the lawn and not seeing the crater but stepping in it! If fenceline digging, how bit an area? Perhaps cheapo chicken wire attached to bottom of fence and buried a few inches in the dirt will help. I've read (many moons ago) of people who 'give' their dog a digging spot, put fill dirt or sand there. I have NOT tried that but would love to know if that works. Trouble is catching them in the act. Guest Anonymous Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 He's just a little over a year. He's digging randomly...mostly where there USED to be a sand box. He's got a two foot hole going there....little booger. Quote

Daisysmom Posted December 16, 2002 Posted December 16, 2002 Wow, the poo worked for us. Don't bury it too deep. That's the trick. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 Yeah fill in the hole and put the poo at the top and cover with 1 inch of dirt... You might need another dogs poo.. Quote
