My bud Lec, whom we all assume to be full blooded APBT, has a cowlick the runs from his ears down both sides of his neck. I have never seen APBT w/ this, a Dobe named Ariel i knew had this but thats the only dog i've seen w/ a ridge. (not counting those pretty RR) Anyone ever encounter this? Quote

gooeydog Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 Goo (dark brindle) doesn't have one... Annie (red) and Joey (fawn) do. I think maybe it has to do with the length of their fur, Goo's fur is really short and thin around her neck, and kind of stiff; Annie's fur is a little longer and thicker than Goo's; and Joey's fur is longer, softer, and thicker than either of theirs.
