Australian Shepherd (special needs happy ending)

That is a wonderful story.

And I would like to thank the breeder for being irresponsible and breeding merle to merle and producing her.

I am thankful that someone felt sorry for her and took her into their home as a special needs dog.

I am amazed that there are such patient, kind people out there. I know myself I could not deal with a blind, deaf dog (old age is different though). Shame on the irresponsible breeders who let it happen. But what a great story!

I think if I had more time at home (hint...didn't WORK outside the home) I would be happy to take in a special needs dog. Being away from home for 10 hours a day is hard enough on my dogs, let alone a special needs. Ours have free reighn of our property other than upstairs (our bedroom). Can't say a special needs dog would have the easiest time at that. Especially a wheel chair dog. How would he/she get out the dog door? :-?
