Head tremors

I'm looking for information about head tremors. My bulldog recently started having them and there seems to be very little information available about these tremors that affect only the head -- they last from 1-8 minutes and the dog is conscious the entire time. Anyone with any information, please write.

Have you taken your dog to the vet for these head tremors? How long have they been going on?

Have you had your dog to the vet? Have you talked to the breeder of your dog or perhaps others who breed bulldogs to see if there is a genetic base? I'm sorry I don't have any info about these tremors, it certainly sounds like a neurological issue tho.
How old is your dog? Has your dog been exposed to any chemical or biological agents prior to the onset of the tremors? Things like but not limited to: flea preventative, heartworm preventative, other bug spray, any poison bait in the area, weed killer, fertilizers, ANYTHING that was put into his environment? Anything he might have gotten into? Household cleaners, rug sprays, molds, etc? The list could be quite long.
Any trauma to your dog recently? Is your dog on any medications?
Right off hand this is all I can think of.

What did your vet say? Did he recommend a neurologist evaluate him asap? Carol mentioned the many possibilities that could cause this alarming reaction. I had a friend whose dog developed these neurological problems because the neighbor had a professional lawn service to spray for weeds. These chemicals (although represented as safe) can be highly toxic to pets, children, and adults. Please let us know what the vet said.

You really need to take your dog to the vet. There are many things that could be causing the tremors including chemical reactions, environment or even seizures. I friend who is a vet has a dog that starting having mild seizures that started off has just head tremors that were heat/exercised induced and then started to become more frequent and turned into full seizures. You really need to make sure that there is not something medically wrong with your dog.

Oh and this dogs whole litter has been prone to seizures. A good breeder will let you know this. Find out from the breeder if any of the litter mates are having the same issues or if any previous ones did. The breeder did tell my friend with some of the litter seemed more susceptible so she was prepared...
