yellowlabsrule Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 We just moved about a 100yds to our other pasture, and Winnie is sort-of confused. We go to the old house to get stuff and then we come back and I was wondering if there was something we could do to get her to understand we live here now. We brought all her stuff here and everything, any ideas? I know this is DOGOmania, but anyone know about the same question applying to cats? Thanks! Quote
yellowlabsrule Posted November 18, 2002 Author Posted November 18, 2002 I mean she stays here then at night before it's time to come in she goes back there. We feed her here and everything, but sometimes she gets confused. I know she needs to get used to it and then maybe she'll understand. Anyway since we're on the subject any advise for moving people? I kept my cats in for eight weeks so that they could get used to the smells and noise around the home and look outside into the garden everyday, letting them out earlier than this is likely to see your cats return to your old home.
