Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 So Jacsmom, how are your boys doing? Are they getting along OK? How has Jack been with the seziures? Poor baby.... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Right now they are playing in the yard... Doing great :D !! Forest discovered leaves yesterday... I stood in the window for 15 minutes laughing at him jumping and grabbing them and spitting them out...  Jac is so far seizure free for a month and a half (knock on wood)(fingers crossed)(praying) He has stopped growing up and is starting to grow out now :o ...he already weighs 85lbs!!! Forest is about 2 inches shorter than Jac at 4 months old so I know who is going to be bigger!! I will post a pic here in a few mins.... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Oh, how fun to see them discover new things for the first time! Can't wait to see the pix! Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 :) it's good to watch them play Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 This is "their" pool... The object of this game is to see who can get it dirty faster once mom changes the water!!! :D **Forest looks like he is starving but gets fed 8-9 cups of food a day!!!! So fear not he is fed.. he just wants to look striking for the ladies I guess??!!* Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Probably looks like Forest! :) :D Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Wait a minute...HOW MUCH DOES FOREST EAT A DAY????????? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 9, 2002 Posted November 9, 2002 He eats 4 to 4 1/2 cups in the morning and 4 to 4 1/2 cups in the evening!! Yep it is alot!! And it is GONE so quick...You would think he never gets fed....I have tought about adding a cup to that but not sure just yet.... :-? Quote
Hobbit Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 Okay, I need to increase the dosage on my medication.....I would have sworn in front of the judge that Forest was a Basset Hound. Where did I get that?? Quote
Dad4duchess Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 I should get Duchess a pool over the summer Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 Yeah I guess he was in drag that day!!  Bassetzilla takes doghouse!!!  Quote
eggrolyn1223 Posted November 11, 2002 Posted November 11, 2002 I asked our vet if Duck could go swimming at this age and he said no...I wonder why?I thought she could already...was planning on taking her for a small swim, just asked to be on the safe side...didn't get the answer I wanted. How much are the cheapest baby pools?(that are big enough for Duck...)There is not a clean river or lake near here...have to go to another city..or else, the beach...I want her to be able to play in the backyard...I'll ask my mom if she can go get one and then my dad can bring it back. 8) Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 11, 2002 Posted November 11, 2002 Egg, I got a decent size one (I think a step up from Jac and Forests) for $25 US dollars. The problem is finding one this time of year unless you are in a warm climate state. That's weird that your vet said that about not swimming..... Quote

I can sympathize Jacsmom, Jesse got 8 cups of kibble a day when he was a youngster plus leftover veggies from our dinner, perhaps a bit of gravy, etc etc. He was rail thin until he was almost 4 years old. I love the photo of Jac and Forrest in the pool! Those boys need their own inground pool. :D Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 They would LOVE it I am sure!! Both are scared to death of the water hose but love their pool!!  Quote
Carolk9s Posted November 12, 2002 Posted November 12, 2002 My aussie mix is terribly frightened of the hose or being in the bathtub but will happily muck through a stinky rank scummy pond. Then acts like I'm murdering her when I rinse her off. Quote
