Guest Anonymous Posted November 7, 2002 Posted November 7, 2002 Ok....We took the dogs for a walk this evening. We stopped a few blocks over to talk to a neighbor who was outside. This neighbor has a dog but it was inside. As we are talking, the dogs are being really good on their leads, and Kenzo is sniffing around. All of a sudden, Kenz hikes up his leg and pees on my hubby's leg! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT???? Funny, soon as we left that house, hubby says to me "you better get on line first thing and talk to your friends to find out why the #*$& he did that!" HELP PLEASE! BTW, for those of you who don't know Kenzo, he's an altered, male Shiba Inu. Quote
corgilady Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002    Poor hubby! I can't help you, Koda pees on Fella's head. Quote
bk_blue Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002   I can't offer any explanation though other than maybe yeah, he did just forget what he meant to pee on?? My auntie's Beagle (neutered) did that to me in the backyard one day, all over my white school sock... Mum was not amused. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Yeah, I can only hope that it's a OOPS I forgot where I was thing... Kenzo is soo good at his pottying. He will hold it until he is sick (we'd had a caretaker issue when we were visiting my husband's dying grandma). The only time we've seen him "bad pee" is when Milo, Kenzo's son, came to visit about 2.5 months after he'd left our house ( :() . Kenzo would circle Milo as he laid on our floor. He went after Milo a few times...THIS IS MY HOUSE! Milo was about 4 mths old and not completely potty trained (it took him almost a year) and pee'ed on our dining room table leg. Almost immediately afterwards, Kenzo had to pee over it. That's the only other time he's done such a thing. Well, before he was altered, he'd pee at PetCo and the vets but all the smells! Quick funny story. We got him at 16 weeks. He was almost potty trained when we got him. One night about 2 months later (age 5.5) my hubby and I decided to go out of town to get a few Christmas gifts (about 45 hr from our house.) We felt bad leaving Kenzo home by himself since he was never alone at night. So, we dropped him off at my sisters! He didn't mind the cat, although she wasn't fond of him, but he did find interest in their small christmas tree. He lifted that leg and pee'ed away! :o  Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Yeah, he was quited pee'ved (pun intended)!!! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Where are all the experts? My hubby will be quizing me once I get home! Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 Okay he was marking his "dad" so the other dog couldn't steal him!!!    Tell him to be really careful when he goes by that house again or the other dog may remark him!!! :o Just joking but I would tell my hubby that!!!! Okay seriously probably busy smelling and looking for the other canines and miss fired on too hubby's leg...Nothing personal just bad aim... (most males have it!!) Then again could be that hubby had a smell on him that Kenzo did not like so he "fixed" it!! I doubt it will happen again so no worries!!  Quote

A friend has a little sign in her bathroom...My aim is to keep this bathroom clean. Your aim would help. Quote

Paddy would think Christmas and his birthday had come together no need to go out in the cold to spray trees his own private tree inside. :D Quote

We have always put up a barrier around the tree cuz I don't trust them with some of the ornaments...the stuffed ones and such would be OFF the tree in an instant! Quote
