They are (of course) not free but certainly far less than pet store (puppy mill) puppy or even a breeder. If your looking for a pet, petfinder might just have a dog for you! You might also want to try Yorkie and Papillon Rescue orgs, they might have adult dogs looking for new homes. Here is a photo of a young yorkie girl listed in Huntington NY.
