Duck's running around crazy

I was wondering why Duck stops whatever she's doing and runs around with her tail tucked under her bottom.Is it cuz she needs to run around or is she just gone hyper?And Duck isn't taking treats properly, especially when I give her a treat for staying.She stays in one place, and when I say DONE, she comes running to me, and I hold out the treat, and she just grabs(bites actually) it from my hand, and she made me bleed today.She was grabbing the treat and then the inside of my nails started bleeding.I know she can't go on like this, and I really need help on her taking treats.I don't want to delay giving her treats because then she'll think she's not being rewarded for it.HELP plz

Is she running around like she's playing? OR like something is bothering her?

If it's not play, then:
Sometimes puppies or dogs will do this if they have tape worms. The tapeworm egg segment is coming out of the anus and is tickling them, sometimes they don't know what is happening and they tuck their tail and try to get away from it. Also, if a flea is biting them in the anal region, they will do the same thing.

Well, I read at http://www.k9web.com/dog-faqs/breeds/labradors.html#faq that it's called butt-tucking(it's at the bottom).I just wanted to make sure that was right or if any of you that had dogs doing this also.Mocha used to do this also, but only in the backyard.And did your dogs ever grab treats like Duck does?

Sometimes, when our pup feels good and will tuck his tail and take off running, spinning around and hopping --- just playing. Is this what you are talking about? Duck is just playing? If so, it's just play --- feels good to run and act silly. It will wear off.....like when they're about 10! :lol:

Yes, the grabbing of the treat -- but usually because they didn't want one of the other dogs grabbing it --- it was because of competition. I teach "off" and "wait" and "easy" when giving treats.

One of my dog does that with the treats. He used to bite my hand off almost :o . So I would put my hand in front of him and tell him "Don't bite". I still do that once in awhile and he doesn't bite me anymore (I think he got the hint he doesn't have to bite my arm off to get the treat).

And on the tail thing, one of ours dogs does that running ALL over the yard when the are playing.
