I have a 2 year old german shephard, he rules around my house. Recently, my brother has come to stay with us and he has a 3 year old rotweiller, who as a matter of fact also rules his house. Both dogs are very well mannered dogs, who love their master and follow them everywhere. Neither dog has every really been agressive. Until now....they don't like living together...HELP!!! How can I get them to like each other.....Nuetering is not an option because they are both registered studs for breeding :agrue: :agrue:

Perhaps you can buy a dog cage and put one of the dogs in it until they both get used to living with one another.

Sometimes, two dogs will NEVER get along together. Two intact males, both of breeds with dominant qualities; this may very well be your situation. I know many people who live in this situation, and the only way to keep both dogs and people safe is to NEVER allow dogs together. Keep one in a crate or outside while the other is free in the house, play "rotating dogs".

I am a firm beleiver that if you are not prepared for the possibility of keeping dogs seperated for life, you should not acquier more than one. I know that's not your situation, but still may be necessary.
