eggrolyn1223 Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 WOOHOO!!I LOVE THAT SHELTER!!!I saw an article about the San Fransisco one, and it showed a picture of one of the rooms. There was a doggy couch, air conditioning, clean white tile floor, pleanty of natural light, and everything a dog would want in a temporary home(except for companionship) Quote
Carolk9s Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 I am really looking forward to the grand opening on Oct 19th. I live in Richmond and plan on visiting and am even considering doing volunteer work there. I was a volunteer at the present/old building, for multiple reasons, one of which was MY safety, I had to give it up. I like the idea of a large indoor walking track for the dogs. Quote
bk_blue Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 Oh I love a happy story about dogs. :) Though one day I hope they don't have a use for an animal shelter; well, we can all dream... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 1, 2002 Posted October 1, 2002 That's such a great story! I did see these "luxury rooms" in one of the dog magazines I get (maybe Dog Fancy or Dog & Kennel?). Great concept! And great for these homelss dogs too! Thanks for sharing, I love to hear good stories like this one. Keep 'em coming! :D Quote
