Aroura Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 Has any one heard of Diane Ah Naid? Well, she sings the hit songs "I Go Off" and "Perfect Family" as well as many others. Well, I went to a concert of hers last night and after she's finnished singing I went and talked to her for about 15 minutes. I started talking about my babys and pulled out the photos. She said "Oh, I love boxers, what a gorgeous dog!" and then she signed Lilys photo!!!! :D So my darling dog has a famous persons signature on her!!!! :D :D :D I'm stoked! :D Quote

deepseasnake Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 hehe I still have trouble looking at it right    Quote
bk_blue Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 That's GREAT Aroura!! I'm jealous! :D On subject of famous people... the local Mafia don frequents the same wine bar/restaurant as we do, and BK is very well-known there, he's like this little celebrity dog, everyone asks about him all the time, he is more popular than any of us! The don really likes BK and whenever he sees him, fusses over him and takes him for a walk around the block- and how are you supposed to say no to that?! Quote
deepseasnake Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 hehe  I can see it now! I used to hang out with a don's grandson, but we got into to much trouble and were banned from eachother, not an order you want to be caught breaking :o Quote
bk_blue Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 LOL Deep- no way would you want to be breaking THAT rule. Quote
deepseasnake Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 we were like in 8th grade and figuring out that it is possible to smoke weed everyday for a year. so we out gettin toasted everywhere, finally we came home and his grandpa was like "your gonna leave my house Ian Thomas" I ran outta there pretty quick  I wonder what happend to those guys Quote
bk_blue Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 Stoned in grade 8! Gee was I a late starter... though dad got me drunk at age 11 at same wine bar... it's also very funny to see my uncle and Simon (barman) get Grandad drunk, take his dog around to all the tables, then come back and ask Simon, "do you know any rich widows?"!!!! Never never never get anyone past the age of 80 smashed in public for they will no doubt embarrass the hell out of you!! Quote
Aroura Posted September 7, 2002 Author Posted September 7, 2002 LOL, deep, had a good laugh at that one. By any chance were you stoned when you thought Lily was a stuffed animal!  You guys oughtta move to Armidale, every second person from year 7 up is stoned and its hard to find anyone my age who doesn't smoke the stuff (except for me of course, I'm a good girl.... I just drink alot  ) I think I over did it on Thursday night though, I've still got a headache today and I'm supposed to go out for some more celebration drinks tonight and to see my friends band play (you know the one Bk  ) Celebrating because on Thursday I got a job! :D Quote
bk_blue Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 Congrats!!! :D I reckon we need a beer icon here, whaddya think?? I guess it means you'll be spending less time on the board? :( Quote
Aroura Posted September 8, 2002 Author Posted September 8, 2002 Yeah sash, where is it? We need beer! Yeah Bk, havn't started working yet, but when I do I'll probably be here less :( Its good that I'm working at the UNI post office though, I've got dozens of friends there and this really cute adorable guy who says he'll come in every ten minutes to buy a stamp just to see me  Sweet eh? 8) Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted September 8, 2002 Posted September 8, 2002 Congratulations Aurora! :D  Could always use good news! Quote
bk_blue Posted September 8, 2002 Posted September 8, 2002 8) yeah Aroura! So many men so little time eh? Will PM you soon... Had a shocker of a morning, I missed obedience because I locked myself out of the house (with BK) and couldn't get back in cos nobody was home  . Having the flu doesn't help either *insert sick icon here* but at least it's a good excuse not to do anything but lounge round the house... Quote
Aroura Posted September 8, 2002 Author Posted September 8, 2002 Thanks tiggerress :D Yeah BK, sometimes I think "too many man..." Hope you get better soon, and next time remember the key! One time I was locked out of the house I really needed to get into town (or anywhere with a toilet!). Dad wasn't home but the car was and I've got car keys, but no licence! Only my L's, but I thought oh heck, and took the car. Well, good thing dads so cool because I ran into him in town and he said "i hope your not after a lift home because I don't have the car" and I was just like... "thats ok, I do..." LOL, so glad I didn't run into mum instead! 8) Quote
