deepseasnake Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 I know you all share my feeling here but I need to vent Today before I went to the hospital to take my stiches out I was watching animal planet's "animal rescue" they showed these elephants chained to the floor spread eagle, with huge metal shackels and these 3 to 5 guys were beating them with these HUGE sticks, the elephant would fight, the chains got tighter and the men would just BEAT it harder. The lady hosting the show said this would go on for DAYS non stop to "break" the animals, it was also done to baby elephants! I cant describe to you the rage that I have right now I cant even put into words what I desire to do to those fu*king people! If I could I would just go out and free all the animals in those sick road shows, I know of rescues in the midwest that will take animals that size and I would do things to those guys that mister Osama wishes he'd a thought of! I'm just siting here furious, it just pisses me off further that I cant do anything about it but send an envolope with money in it! Why cant I just go hunt these people down like the cowards they ARE!! Quote
usmcbyrd Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 if you ever want to go hunt those people down let me know. i could always use the extra target practice. lol (kind of) Quote

usmcbyrd Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 good lord. its sh1t like that that makes me want to quit my job and just travel around the world and do to every dumb s.o.b. like those little gangster wanna be's what they do to people and animals. i hate to say this because im new here but i think some sick twisted side of me would get a great amount of satisfaction out of that. i think i could skip the firecracker part and go straight for a small amount of C4. just enough to hurt. and instead of gas how about a little mustard gas. sounds good to me. those dumb fu##ers. Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 I just got done watching part of animal precinct....most people I know say they can't watch it. I can because they only show the ones where the owners (not guardians) are brought to justice and/or the dogs are rescued. This particular one was all on dogs, at least what I saw. I jumped on here cuz I couldn't watch the puppy part. Most were pits.  Animals are innocent, like children. They are products of their environment. A dog is truely, a best friend. I hate people that hurt animals. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 gigishiba napisał(a):snip Animals are innocent, like children. They are products of their environment snip: Just wanted to reply to this part as it is IMO only half true - animals like children are products of their heredity and are modified by their environment - they don't come with a clean slate but how you 'write' on the slate presented will be dealt with differently based on the individuals genetic makeup. I think anyone who believes differently may learn it the hard way (I hope not!) or simply be doing all an injustice to the individuals they are in contact with based on a false presumption. Quote
deepseasnake Posted August 27, 2002 Author Posted August 27, 2002 Guest, I understand what you have just said, and I agree but I dont see what your point is? even if these puppy "slates" were not written on correctly or if the "slate" is geneticaly imperfact or geared toward agressiveness, it does not change the pup's innocence, either way he is victim of some human's dilution. Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 Yes, I realize that and even thought about that as I was typing...but didn't add that as well. I believe heredity has a lot to do with it as well.....breeding is a big thing with temperament IMHO...but it's amazing what some love can do. No arguing here! Quote
deepseasnake Posted August 27, 2002 Author Posted August 27, 2002 ok real quick off the subject what is IMO IMHO IME I dont even know what is going on here! Quote
Horsefeathers! Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 IMO = in my opinion IMHO = in my humble opinion IME = in my experience Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 Deep... saw that today did you?... funny thing, I saw it too! :o I have seen this before, believe it or not this is the way the (ok lets see if I can spell this right) Mahout (?) (guys in india who ride elephants?) train thier elephants! Go to Point Defiance Zoo, one of thier asian elephants is a man killer... and why do you think she killed him? At least there are people who can afford to save some of these poor creatures!!! Somday I would like to help out in a place like that!!! (Cause I could never afford to own one...) Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 Oh by the way... I love to watch those shows!!! They usually have a happy ending... Quote
