Aroura Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 Aint storys like that just great? Its a wonder why anybody doesn't microchip, its a small price to pay to get your dog back home, even 6 years later! I would cry from happyness if that was me and my dog. We've never lost a dog, but at least if one of ours did chance to stray I would have hope to get her back one day. Even my cats microchipped. I know so many people who have found animals and kept them, just because they weren't chipped. My cousin has this gorgeous white fluffy cat who obviously came from a home that loved it very dearly, but not dearly enough to get it chipped and they will be missing it so much now just because they didn't obey the laws and chip their cat. I almost kept a dog one day because it wasn't chipped. You can't rely on an add in the paper to reunite you with your pet, what if you didn't get that particular paper? You can't rely on chance, a chip is for life, and you can, most of the time, rely on that. Quote
