Guest Anonymous Posted August 24, 2002 Posted August 24, 2002 i have an australian cattle dog. he is approximately 40-43 lbs. he is 23 weeks old. i have been looking all over for some type of chart to see about how big he will be. according to breed standards he is almost full grown, but i have a hard time believing that at only 23 weeks he would be full grown. any help or input would be greatly appreciated. deepseasnake Posted August 25, 2002 Posted August 25, 2002 yeah well Oscar was an only child so we joke that the whole litter just decided to combine so they didnt have to leave eachother :D Quote
Aroura Posted August 25, 2002 Posted August 25, 2002 Tessa is part cattle dog, she stopped growing at about that age. Cattle dogs tend to reach their adult size alot younger than many other breeds. Tessa is 22kg (49pounds?), cattle dogs shouldn't really get any heavier than her. The are supposed to be wirey, sturdy and rather smallish. Quote
