Each one has somewhat different requirements, and yes, you have to buy the crate or the person shipping the dog. Airlines do not supply them. Most airline specifically ask that the dog not be fed. Biggest cost in shipping to the UK is the 6 months quarantine in a specific type of kennel unless they have lifted that rule recently. Quote
