Guest Anonymous Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 My dog really smells sometimes. I know dogs are only supposed to be bathed once a month, but I have to bath him atleast once a week. I'm not sure why he smells so bad. He stays in the house 80% of the time and my house doesn't smell bad! I was trying to figure out what he smelled like and the only thing I could think of was pee with a misture of decomposing animal.... not a good smell at all. He ate some cabbage last night so he smelled like cabbage last night. It's pretty hot here so maybe that has something to do with it. Some of the smell comes from his leather collar, so I wash it often. Any advice!? Keep in mind I live in Jamaica and can't find all the products that are in other countries. Maybe I could order something over the web. Maybe my posts are boring compared to all the other drama going on on this site.... just trying to stay away from those topics. I really don't care about if Mary is lying or not.. we'll never know. Unless someone goes and hunts her down. Quote
deepseasnake Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 well, I'm sure you have already thought of this but the huskies I used to have really liked their animal carcass. quite a few times they would come in smelling like rotting corpses and sure enough I would find one usually not to far from the yard with fresh husky hair through out I would dispose of the animal and with it went the smell, at least until they stumbled across another one maybe take a walk around your property could be a dead bird or something hope I helped :) Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted August 8, 2002 Posted August 8, 2002 Yuck :o Hazel rolled in something yesterday down at the bay. I would liken it to cow manure that was 10 yrs old! What ever it was it was red and lingered... I didn't even want to pet her. Gave her a bath this morning so I could stand to be around her. Geez dogs!!! Quote

I will smell the food... but I didn't think sciene diet was that low quality food. I know it's not the best, but I didn't think it was the worst either. I don't have a lot of choices in Jamaica and dog food is very expensive. I also feed him chicken. Quote
