If someone had been found dying in a human pit, it would have been broadcast all over the world and the whole world would be mourning. Isn't it sad that all a dog gets is a plea over the net to stop this inhumane act of cruelty? Some people have no morality and should be giving a needle to themself, not to an innocent dog!!! :evil:

this sort of thing make me so mad and so sad.why oh why are there so many bad people in the world.its hard enough when a human gets hurt or attacked. but these dogs had no chance,
has for the police well surely there was something they could have done.in my eyes its cruety,theres no other word for it.i just wished there was some way of stopping all these people who are cruel to animals.like Arourasaid if that had been a human it would have been all over the news.it was not just cruel it was murder.god i am so angry

I wish the people that did this would die a horrible death.. I know I will get yelled at for saying that but I don't care. Think of how animals feel when us humans are hitting them or starving them. I hate it so dang much :evil:

when pets are put to sleep and the owner does not want the body..........is this what happens???

I am so glad that my past pets have always been cremated and the ashes returned to me!

It depends on the municipality. Our local shelter cremates all the animals they euthanize.

This particular portion of the Dallas landfill is in the back corner where few citizens go. I'm not even sure that they're allowed to go. I wish every person who dumped their dog at the shelter had to see that picture. What a haunting impression it would make on them. Or would it?

And some end up as dog food.......oh, that's another topic....sorry to bring that up again.

The animal shelter in the area where I used to live just dumps them in the dumpster. Whew, what a stinch! The dumpster is not dumped everyday either. Dear Lord can you imagine if someone went dumpster diving....... :o

That was very heartbreaking to look at.I am a rottie breeder and looking at that mad me cry.How could people be so heartless..I think the animals should have a chance to treat people they way we treat them..

It pains me to look at that,but I know that where they are now they will never suffer again, and they have the best owner a dog could ever have as God will love them forever...And believe me those people will get thier just desserts..

That is SO sad. :( At our animal shelter here. I think they just through the animals in the dumpster. When you pull up to the back there are sacks out there full of puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs. It is very sad. :cry: I have heard so many bad stories about our vet up here. Hardly anybody here likes him. They take their pets out of town to a different vet.

Unfortunately that's just the tip of the iceberg. This is the fate of many dogs and cats - purebreds and mixes. It sure brings home the adage, "If you don't rescue, don't breed." Without rescuers in the picture, the dump would be the end of the line for many more animals.

I do hope this picture and story will compel you to examine your reasons for breeding and reexamine the method in which you check out puppy buyers. Hopefully it entails more than just an exchange of cash and pup, or one of your guys could end up exactly like Mariah or the other dogs in the pile.

This is one of the most horrible things I have seen in a long time. Don't you wish that all the bad people would just get the plauge or something, and all of the good ones won the lottery! I was well....no other words are coming now, :cry: .
