Guest Anonymous Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 It also depends on what kind of breed you have... if you have a Beagle or another heavy eared breed, you should be expecting that. But then if you have a stand up eared breed like the sibe... then there is reason for concern. I bought this ear cleaner by Top Performance out of New England Serum Company (the best company there is!) Get some ear cleaner and try that for a while. If the dog is scratching and his ear smells really bad and is kinda red.. more than ususal.. take him in again. Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 DO NOT PUT WATER IN THE EAR, YOU CAN CLEAN THE EAR WITH A BIT OF OIL, IF THE DOG HAS AN INFECTION IT WILL MAKE IT WORSE, AND DONT POKE AROUND TOO FAR INSIDE. YOU CAN BUY EAR CLEANERS FROM VETS AND GOOD PETSHOPS. Quote
