Guest Anonymous Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 Oh yeah. Each birthday they get special treats/cookies. We don't do the whole party/cake/hat thing, but they do get recognized. At Christmas, they usually get pizzle in their stocking. Yes, they have a stocking. Only one for the two of them, though. A big red and white furry paw.... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 K-what kind of party games do you play? Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 We celebrate birthdays and x-mas with our dogs too. Matter of fact, we include them in every holiday celebration. Why not? they're part of the family too! When Rocky turned one we got them Frosty Paws(dog ice cream) to celebrate. And they usually get tons of new toys and treats as gifts. And the funny thing is my family usually gives them stuff too (you can never go wrong with a PetSmart gift card). :D :D :D Quote

Aroura Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 Of course! But why stop at the dogs??! Every birthday in this house is a big occasion, with cake and pressents and lots and lots of cuddles!!!! My rats always get huge partys, with lots of patty cakes and I even invite friends over, we don't play pass the parcell, we play pass the rat!!! As for my fish, I don't celebrate their birthdays because I have no way to tell how old they are!!! Instead (call me crazy) but I buy them a present every fortnight and play with them every day (tap on the tank and they follow me around). My cat Tiger's birthday is a coupla days after mine, so we just have a combined party. He's turning ten this year!!! But as for the dogs, their partys are massive, with cake, huge presents from all the family and picknics, swims, and very long walks!!!! Even 6 month partys are a big occasion here, with a special present, a big fat hug and a nice bit of cake! At christmas our pets have thier own tree!!! My pets are my babys, and I make sure they get nothing but the best!!! One question though, how do you spoil a scorpion? Think for Max's birthday he'll have to just settle for a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", no cuddles for him!!! Quote
Aroura Posted July 27, 2002 Posted July 27, 2002 newfiemom napisaĆ(a):I do have a friend with whom I train with that made her boxers pajamas so I guess the stockings are not so bad!! Oh what a cute idea! I'm going to have to make Lily some pj's now I think!   Quote
