Well this is a truly sad post......

The one that I really can't understand is the Premarin.....I thought that things like Insulin and other hormones were now manufactured synthetically using recombinant bacteria instead of "organically" (insulin used to come from pig pancrease - but some people had bad reactions). However, when I looked up the drug I discovered the SHOCKING truth that this deplorable company does use horse urine in the manufacture of their product. The only saving grace to this story is that there is a new FDA study which has demostrated that hormone replacement is a REALLY BAD IDEA. See these links for details:

Oh I really should not have read that! How just anwser me HOW!? can anybody do that? That is the one thing on this earth that I don't understand is how anybody can do that. Sashagirl posted a site once with abused pits. Nothing in life has ever hurt me and stayed with me that long. I really suggest that all of you become a member to the ASPCA. Acctually go to their web site at www.aspca.com. Its sickening.

It reminds me of this one time a loooong time ago when there used to be this stray roaming around the nieghborhood, she was a sweety. Anyway, these nieghborhood boys realised that she didn't have an owner, so they claimed her as thier own...

What they did next was sick, horrible, and sad :cry: . First, they CHOPPED OFF her tail! Yup, cuz one day she had a tail, and the next she comes with a bleedy stump and a howl sad enogh to make you cry all night! :cry: Then, took a piece of string, tied it around her neck, and was gone :cry: Anyway, she is missing for some time, and I think of her every waking hour, when my mom and I go out for a walk, suddenly I see something moving down the road and it is her! She rialises me and comes runnig to me and jumping! :D I was SOOOOOOOO happy! She was as thin as a rail, and had scars all over her body! :cry: I knew the boys had abused her and used her in dog fights to get some cash :cry: It was heart breaking! She jumped at every sound, scared. And was shaking. :evil: :cry: :x I wished I could take her, but our house was 2 small. :cry: :( Anyway, I took her home and fed her, I let her spend the night, and the next morning she was off :cry: I never saw her again... :cry: :cry:

Now I wish she would come back cuz we moved and have a bigger garden, too late :cry: :cry: :cry:

Please everybody, if you realise animal abuse, don't be afraid to call the ASPCA, remmember everyone can make a difference.

Baylor University students Derek Brehm and Clint Bowers for allegedly committing one of the most violent ANIMAL CRUELTY acts of the year.
Brehm and Bowers were arrested on animal cruelty charges early in 2001 for allegedly shooting and skinning a stray cat they picked up outside a local restaurant. The cat, named Queso by restaurant workers because of his propensity to hang around the Mexican eatery, was also beheaded, and its head was found in the back of Brehm
