Experts help me out if you will. ****WHATS THE 10 MOST POPULAR OWNED DOG BREEDS IN AMERICA? :-? Much Thanks! #1 being the best. My wife thinks it's Labrador for #1. LoBo! 4) Dachshunds <-- Never even seen one! 5) Beagles <-- Beagle has one named fred!! LOL 6) Yorkshire Terriers <-- Never seen one either but on t.v. they walk so FUNNY!!! 7) Poodles <-- Hmmmm....... 8 ) Boxers <-- Close Friend also has one! Rocky!! 9) Chihuahas <-- My old neighbors use to have two...Gizmo was scared of them! LOL 10)Shih tzu<-- Old neighbor had two...they are cuties!! Hey wait where are The American Pitbull Terriers??? :cry: But, But, But....Why....I know more of them then I know any of these breeds! LOL Just kidding.....if too many people had them we would have more attacks becuase the APBT IS NOT for everyone! Great Breed though!! :wink: Quote

I was so mad though! Then I ask him if he would please never say anything like that in frount of me again. Then he said well why do you always hear of pit attacks in the news then? And I told him he only hears one side of the story, what was the kid doing to the dog that made him attack? where and how was this dog raised? See what the news has done! :evil: Quote

Oh well I'm just gald they are even on the list! :D Actually people who really love their breeds wish they were further down on the popularity lists as invariably the breeds that hit the top ten drop in quality of looks, temperament, health etc due to the breeding by the ignorant or profit motivated breeders. If you think about it you will realize so many of the breeds that now have a bad rep as poor pets used to be up at the top of the list! Chows for one example and cockers for another! Quote
