Guest Anonymous Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 to avalona.... patience my friend, I think it amazing that you have held up so well, I don't think I would have. Heh I *know* I wouldn't have. I do not breed dogs and know very little about the subject and will never know anymore as I just got Hazel spayed, but your pups look good to me! You can see happiness in those big brown eyes! As to being kept in a kennel and not having house experience... well hazel was an outdoor pup, which was convenient for me because I like my dogs outside most of the time, sneeking them in when my husband is gone, or durring a storm or if the weather is extreame in any other way. And I don't think it took Hazel anytime at all to adjust to being in a house. She loves skidding about on the lenolium as she chases her "bouncy cube", it's one of her fav games. But in all honesty she would rather be outside running with the boys or her friend Clar. I agree with earlier posts that if you know it's good, you know your dogs are happy and healthy, you see that they are the dog you want in life then no worries mate! Just ignore all those who say bad things... if you wanted to keep everyone in the world happy, well then you'd go crazy because it's impossible (a lesson I learned the hard way :) ) And besides all that one of the coolest things about this forum is that we are all so very different! In opinions, in thoughts, in dreams, even in location... that's why we come here, not to bash (well most of us anyway) but to learn and teach and talk dog! :D Quote
avaloniaboerboele Posted August 2, 2002 Author Posted August 2, 2002 Thanks Hazelhover - you made my day! Quote
sixjollydogs Posted August 13, 2002 Posted August 13, 2002  Avalon Please do not worry about the biased and inaccurate ramblings of "guest". They seem determined to demonstrate their lack of understanding of many things. I am one of those horrid "animal rights" people...I know lots of others...and ...all of us have multiple pets...and NOT ONE of us wants to eliminate having pets. Animal rights simply means to most of us anyway (and yes, there is a radical fringe in all groups) 1. the right to be treated like a living creature..not a thing. 2.the right to live the life they were given 3. the right to NOT be born IF there is no home for them 4. the right to be treated with love, respect and dignity Now tell me Guest...just which of these radical concepts causes you the most concern.
