Ok, as most of you know I have a pitbull/boxer mix named McKenzie. Well we are getting ready to move into our house. When we do my husaband wants to get another dog. He wants a male this time. He wanted a male lastime, but we fell in love with McKenzie. This time we are going full blooded. Either a Pit or a Boxer. Now before I would have chosen the Boxer in a heart beat, but I now have equal feelings for the breeds. Can anyone help me choose, or does anyone know where I can find a male of either breed? HELP ME I am stuck on a tough decision. I hate decisions.

I have never had a full blooded pit. I have had a boxer and he was one of a kind. Seriously I don't know what I would do if I ended up with another one like Wishbone (my sister named him) I do miss him, but he was just to hyper. It was ok except I was only 13 when we had him and he overpowered me. And mom got mad when he sat on her min pin. I really do kinda want a pit. The tough part is finding one. There don't seem to be all that many in the mountains of NC. Boxers arent easy to come by either. I really want a Chihuahua, but my husband wants another big dog. Then again McKenzie might try to play witha chihuahua and hurt it by accident. So maybe he is right, but don't tell him I said that. Well I guess it will all be depending on what I can find.

Whichever you get make sure its neutered.
www.petfinder.org has TONS of either and mixes of the two constantly available in shelters nationwide

oh great here we go with the whole get your dog fixed thing......

on a different note. I was really dying for gizmos response. I knew giz would go crazy. I just got an email from someone in NC who has boxers and she knows someone who has pits so I will have to see the pups first. Maybe you will get lucky Gizmo. Maybe we will get a pit. I will let you know.

pretty much the only experience i have had with boxers is well, not good. there was one on our street that lived in a fenced in yard. We were taking our dalmations for a walk and the boxer....PEED ON HER!!!!! no, seriously i guess either one would be great. why not get annother mutt?

My decision has been made harder and easier. I found both pups. The boxers are so adorable. I am waiting on the pit pics. I will post pics of the dogs I will chose from on my website when I get them. From there I am gonna decide.

We are not getting another mix simply because my hubby wants a full breed. We werent gonna get a mix the first time either, but once we seen her we feel in love.

Due to another post I am leaning in the boxer direction. We did want a pit, but due to a sight I saw, a post I made, And the Joke all you pit lovers made out of it I don't know anymore. What do you have to say for yourselves?

I really dont know which to choose. Its one of those love at first sight situations. Whichever one I see that absolutley tears my heart out is the one that goes home with me.
