No one doing a breeding like this on purpose is a responsible breeder :cry: Keep an eye on www.petfinder.org and even post your wish in their pets wanted classifieds to help you find a dog to love. Don't limit yourself to just a pup - lots of wonderful young adult and adult dogs out there wishing for someone who wants a big love! Quote

I agree w/all the above posts and especially the one that tells you not to go seeking someone who would purposely breed these or any purebreds of different breeds. You will never be guaranteed that you will have the same dog in temperment, looks, or size to replace a beloved pet. Anyone who purposely mixes breeds is not a reputable person. Newfie rescue is a wonderful place to look. Good luck. Quote

There are 90 Newfoundland mixes on www.petfinder.com -- most of them lab - newf mixes. many pups or young juveniles. If you aren't out for the perfect purebreed pedigree, there are alot of homeless dogs out there that fit your search. Quote

I've seen several Newfie mixes on Petfinder also, and if I didn't already have two dogs, I would have gotten them! I love Newfies! I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on Petfinder, as that's how I found both of my wonder Golden mix girls! Quote
