Guest roo Posted June 20, 2002 Posted June 20, 2002 Hi, In the past I had a dane pup who I bred and her ears were awful, we tried taping them, it didn't work, she is now nearly 8 years old with ears to be ashamed of, that is for about 75% of the time the rest if the time they look fine, she has been shown as a youngster up to 16 months, her ears did not realy get her knocked as the rest of her is realy lovely, just for a bit of fun we to her out again at nearly 7, as we will show her in veteran at club shows and she beat everyone hands down and went best of breed, even with those ears. Taping does not always work, but it can help, how old is she now? how long have you taped them for?   Roo Quote

How do your pup's ancesters back 3 generations look for ear carriage and cartilege strength? Once teething is over the ears are pretty much the way they will go in all the breeds I have worked with. :( Quote
