Guest Anonymous Posted May 30, 2002 Posted May 30, 2002 I just wanted to share this with everybody. My boxer has arthritis and got lazier and lazier. Two months ago I tried a new product (actually for people but all natural and good for pets as well). Last weekend we went for 2 x two hour walk every day. On day three she was still going strong, roaming around and running. Usually she stayed way behind after a couple of long walks. I am so happy for her and myself. I don't have to worry about ever leaving her home because it might be too much for her. She still has arthritis but that is getting better as well. Check it out. It might be something you want to try. I mix the FLEX and the IMMUNE 26 in her food every day. Quote
Aroura Posted May 30, 2002 Posted May 30, 2002 Congrats on your 12yo Boxer!!! Everyone I've talked to has said not too many Boxers live past 10, but you've given me hope to have another 2 years (at least) of boxer fun with Lily! (she's only 6months old, but I'm already thinking that far into the future!) Just want to be with her forever... Glad to hear your boxer has gained new life and keep having fun together! :D Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted May 31, 2002 Posted May 31, 2002 Yes, unfortunetly a lot of Boxers don't get very old due to all the overbreeding. Mine did have a mass tumor on her chest about 4 years ago. She has been very healthy ever since. Like I said she had a harder time keeping up with us but she is doing just fine right now. Good luck with you Boxer. Quote
