I have 2 American Pitbull Terriers named Hollywood and Hercules. They are about 7 weeks old now. They are absolutely beautiful friends. Quote

I also own a 13 year old Westie mix, name Patch and a 6 year old Border Collie mix, name Penny. They all get on so well together, including with my 3 cats. Quote

sixjollydogs Posted May 17, 2002 Posted May 17, 2002 I am the guardian of 6 dogs...all rescues....so am guessing as to breed: Sophia is my alpha dog...she is border collie with....?......perhaps pit bull. Chauncey.....looks like a long-haired rottie Candy......GSD and doberman Xena....gosh who knows...most likely terrier with a malamute far back. Walker....her brother...but looks nothing like her....looks like a malamute...has the double coat Penelope...a dog we got in a cruelty case...most likely a goldie. Does very well in my advanced obedience class. Quote

courtnek Posted May 18, 2002 Posted May 18, 2002 My son and I belong to: A Yellow Lab/Golden Mix - rescued a Black Lab Mix - gotten as a puppy A VERY LARGE (17 lbs.) Black and White shorthaired cat; rescued. AND a Pond turtle (un-named) Golden Lab is Alex Black Lab is Freebee Cat is PushyCat (and he IS pushy....) I didnt name Alex - I named Freebee and PushyCat. I never give my pets people names. But he was used to it already so I didnt change it. I try to name them according to circumstances (Freebee was advertised as a $20.00 German Shepherd mix - has NO Shepherd in her so I got her for free) or for personality. PushyCat was named for his personality. He runs the whole show - the dogs together are 10 times his size, they still back off when he enters a room. It's quite funny - he wont take anthing from the dogs. He was here first, deal with it. Quote

I also live with my sisters poodle/chihuahua cross, Puddles. I also have one cat, Tiger, two rats, Rusky and Mojo and 4 fish. Nice little collection but they cost a fortune to feed!!! My fiance and I adopted her from the humane society who said she was a 3 month old lab mix, which was completely wrong. She is roughly 14 months old and named Cadence, but we call her Cadie. Quote

The girls are "Piper" at 2 years, and our newest "T.C." at 6 months. (Imbi stands for I Must Be Insane and T.C. stands for Tiny Critter). Quote
