I HAVE A 10 YEAR OLD SHIH TSZU WHO HAS HAD 'SEIZURES' SINCE SHE WAS ABOUT 2 YEARS OLD. THE VET SAYS SHE HAS BLOOD SUGAR PROBLEMS.IF SHE DOES NOT EAT EVERY FEW HOURS SOONER OR LATER SHE WILL START SWAYING FROM SIDE TO SIDE,BECOME STIFF AND UNRESPONSIVE. THE SOLUTION IS TO RUB SYRUP ON HER GUMS-SHE COMES OUT OF IT IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND ACTS LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED EXCEPT THAT SHE IS VERY,VERY HUNGRY. HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER EXPERIENCED THIS?

Does she eat too much if you free feed her?
for more info try going to a search engine like www.dogpile.com and put in hypoglycemia dog and see all that info that comes up
