When can i use Advantage?

Whats the minimum age for dogs to use Advantage? My Dobe is 12wks now and my Vet says its Ok to use it on him. I have read a couple stories about it's toxic to them. Any help would be great.

I think it would be ok to use it on him. They just give smaller doses. Just watch him as with any dog to see if he has any reaction to it or not.

http://www.nofleas.com says as early as 7 weeks it can be used on pups and kittens at 8 weeks!
