I have been searching for the perfect indoor dog, and so far have been thinking along the lines of a shih tzu....top 3 things i want in my future dog are: very friendly to evryone, fairly easy to train(if i get a shih tzu i'll get a 4-5 year old already trained), and sheds very little or not at all...so any advice on a breed or mix breed that might fit these categories? I'm pretty new to the whole indoor dog idea

I would get the book "The Perfect Match, a dog buyer's guide" by Chris Walkowicz, This is a great book that will tell you the bad points as well as the good of any breed your going to find.
I really love the Schnauzer personaly, or maybe the Poodle if you dont want sheding.

You would be making a wise and rewarding choice by getting a shih tzu puppy. I had a wonderful friend "Boo" for 12 years. I now have a good friend "Kody". He will be a year old in April. They are loving, friendly, goodnatured little dogs. All they want from you is to be loved. Good luck, I hope you choose the shih tzu!

I would like to ask you if Airedales are guard dogs? Like will it protect its master and its home with his life? For exemple: If i'm walking in the park with my Airedale and someone attacks me, will my Airedale defend me with his life by instinct?

i would love to help you, but i really have no idea...look in the breeds section on the left for info on most any breed...if it's not the info you were looking for i would try the lnks listed on the bottom of the airedale breed section
