Guest Anonymous Posted March 12, 2002 Posted March 12, 2002 I have been searching for the perfect indoor dog, and so far have been thinking along the lines of a shih tzu....top 3 things i want in my future dog are: very friendly to evryone, fairly easy to train(if i get a shih tzu i'll get a 4-5 year old already trained), and sheds very little or not at all...so any advice on a breed or mix breed that might fit these categories? I'm pretty new to the whole indoor dog idea  Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 12, 2002 Posted March 12, 2002 I would get the book "The Perfect Match, a dog buyer's guide" by Chris Walkowicz, This is a great book that will tell you the bad points as well as the good of any breed your going to find. I really love the Schnauzer personaly, or maybe the Poodle if you dont want sheding. Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted March 22, 2002 Posted March 22, 2002 You would be making a wise and rewarding choice by getting a shih tzu puppy. I had a wonderful friend "Boo" for 12 years. I now have a good friend "Kody". He will be a year old in April. They are loving, friendly, goodnatured little dogs. All they want from you is to be loved. Good luck, I hope you choose the shih tzu! Guest Anonymous Posted March 23, 2002 Posted March 23, 2002 I would like to ask you if Airedales are guard dogs? Like will it protect its master and its home with his life? For exemple: If i'm walking in the park with my Airedale and someone attacks me, will my Airedale defend me with his life by instinct? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 23, 2002 Posted March 23, 2002 i would love to help you, but i really have no idea...look in the breeds section on the left for info on most any breed...if it's not the info you were looking for i would try the lnks listed on the bottom of the airedale breed section Quote
