Bullmastiffs_ro Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Hello ! I also have another male- Colombo de Kair - which is 71 cm tall and about 80 kg. Although he is Romanian Champion Cum Laudae I think he is too big for a bullmastiff, so I do not use him for breeding anymore. In fact i have now 5 bullmastiffs - 3 females and 2 males. I will come to Poland .. if i can find accomodation. Can you recommend me a nice motel/hotel where pets are allowed ? and not very expensive ? I intend to come with Dutch (Dynamic Force One Man Show) and with the female Jess (Ferdhu Bodacia). Jess will be only 9 month old, but i hope thet she will earn a good placement in junior class. Jess is imported from UK, from Ferdhu kennel - her father is English Champion Bogatyr Izznibzz of Bunsoro and her mother is Leyrigg Strike a Pose for Ferdhu - winner of Special Juniorclass at Crufts 2005. Her father is litter brother with the famous Bogatyr Rapture of Bunsoro from Green Dragons kennel in Italy - EU CH, World CH and mother of several Eu Ch - including 2006 Eu Ch Green Dragons Galadriel HAPPY BIRTHDAY Martin !! - from me and all my bullies !

Accomodation? i will by looking something and i let You know on forum, thx for wishes, Martin got big bone and lots of kisses huggies and pleasent words from me and rest of familiy and You offcourse. What abaut that black bullmastiff? have You ever heard about one? that Martin: and that is our first and last show:
Bullmastiffs_ro Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 There is no such thing as a black bullmastiff ! Bullmastiffs do not have the gene for black color ! - only the gene for brown (form fawn to red) and some of them the gene for brindle. A brindle bullmastiff may look almost black (it is called reversed brindle), but in bright sun you can always see the brown color. But this type of brindle is not favored in shows.
mumin_26 Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 what a shame! but if it will exist it would be amazing!:loveu: ok thx always that genes...:cool3: so what do You think about my dog?
Bullmastiffs_ro Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 I like his head and color ! In the first pictures his back looks level - but in the last picture does not. Maybe because you grabed his tail, in hound-like presentation :shake: But I like a lot his head and chest ! What line is he from ?
mumin_26 Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 if i understand correctly You think that my dog has strait horizontal back- level:-o ? its good or bad? i don't think that he has level back and in last picture i'm only hold his tail he stand by himself . please explain me what You were thinking i'm not very good at breeding and exterier. when we've been on show everyone were loved him because hi is corectly bulding .:cool1:
Bullmastiffs_ro Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 In the first 2 pictures it seems that that he has a level back - which is the correct build. In the last picture his back is arched - he is lower at withers that at back. This is incorrect. Also in this picture he lacks angulations. (his back feet are too straight) But it is impossible to judge a dog only by pictures. The movement of the dog is most important. The bullmastiff must have a level back also in movement. Some dogs have level back in movement, but tend to stay with the croup up because they feel more confortable this way (Also this might be a sign of hip dysplasia) If you are interested in how to judge a bullmastiff I reccomend this article written by a breed judge: http://www.dip-alicante.es/cema/bullmastiff/Cano/art_bull.htm Also see the article from my site "How to interpret the Bullmastiff Standard" (sorry, only in romanian) http://www.bullmastiffs.ro/i_standard.htm
mumin_26 Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 in month from that show Martin has diagnosed hip dysplasia, You have very good eye and knowledge, very impresive, that shows me now much i have to learn about articles it takes me months to translate that but in eanglish i'm gonna try but in romanian i don't understand any word thx:p
Bullmastiffs_ro Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 You can use Altavista BabelFish online Translator to translate the webpage from spanish to english, or to other language. the translation is far from perfect, but you can easily correct the mistakes The link is: http://babelfish.altavista.com/
