When I make a salad for myself, I make one for my mastiff. He loves it. Apples and carrots are his favorite.He's on a diet, so he gets these instead of regular treats.

I have tried several things with Willy. He is just very vocal when his friends come home. I will tell the nieghbors that I won't do it. Then I'll tell them that I if I see that cat in my yard again, it's either going to be taking a ride to the pound or getting in the bum with the rubber band gun :wink: .

Willow (Willy Monster) is a two year old Maltese. He is always the center of every show. Such a little dog with such a big personality. Every time someone comes home, Willy freaks out. He yelps and howls and flings himself around. I think It's so cute. The neighbors have mentioned surgery on his vocal cords. Should I make him stop for the neighbors' sake? Keep in mind that their cat kills all our birds :evil: . What should I do?

I love my dog very much. He is a a better than perfect example of his breed (old english mastiff). Sadly, due to my intervention, he was never able to reach sexual maturity. I often think about cloning him. I know that it would not BE him. I think that I would like to see my dog raise his child and have the puppy as a companion after he's gone. As far as 'playing God' goes, we have altered the lives of animals (not just pets) for our entire existance. What is the differance between cloning, reproductive assistance (in humans), and birth control pills?
