Kids next door throwing rocks at Patti
pollysmith replied to xavierandrea's topic in Everything about dogs
I would go and talk to the kids parents and if they get mouthy remind them that there are cash penalties and jailtime for cruelty to animals! -

[b] Hi...I'm Polly's daughter. I can give the URL to find the pics she wanted posted but she says she wants the actually picture to appear with her replies not just an URL. Can anyone tell me either how to do this or if "K" can reply with what I'm doing wrong with the earlier instructions she sent? My mom really would appreciate it! Thanks a bunch.

As you can all imagine wwith a young puppy my rug has Spots. I would love suggestions on solutions I can put in a spray bottle and wipe with a sponge that will clean and deodorize the spot without; lifting the color, leave a greasy residue or smell heavy. Homemade or storebought doesn't matter. I don't mind cleaning the spots he makes on his way to pottytraining but I'd like to clean them up with no signs left behind. Thanks!

:( I printed out the directions and followed them as well as I could but some of the things she said I would see I didn't see! Like where it says rightclick on picture go to properties. It will sayURL. No where did it say URL. I tried a few things and came up empty. I'm out of ideas However I did create an album with a couple pictures of Qwill So I'm not completely hopeless! Any help out there? Thanks

Won't go outside. Don't know what to do.
pollysmith replied to StarFox's topic in Everything about dogs
Gosh! That is a problem. How about taking his favorite treat outside and praise him whenhe comes out to get it. I know its hard but just like with kids persistence will pay off. What scared him so bad? -
Questionaire- 'Doggie Fun Events'
pollysmith replied to Taurus and Jada's topic in Everything about dogs
We have quite a few doogie events around here but I've never gone to one. I afraid my two older girls just don't like other dogs. I may start taking Qwill since he's still young. It always sounds like fun! -
I find this so funny and want to share it with you. Qwilll of course is still small only ten weeks. I have a Two level kathouse. Kitty sleeps on top and Qwill sleeps in the bottom compartment! He still fits but can you imagine a couple months from now? It's hilarious!
-
Oh my! Poor Pooh . Hope he'll be OK!

Okay, A person takes in a dog (Or other animal) to raise as a pet. This carries responsibilities. You should not have more pets then you can love and keep healthy, don't stick them out in a yard and let them breed and breed! You are being cruel to the animals. Find homes for some of them and they spay or neuter the ones you choose to keep.

Try some strained baby meat thinned with water, a teaspoon at a time. I think making sure she has water in her system is more important than food. Again just a little at a time. Once I sat up all night doing that for a pup with parvo and the vet said it probably saved his life. Hope she feels better soon!
-
and they learn so young! Qwill tumbled off the bed and hurt his front paw, not really hurt it but I guess for a few minutes it was sore. Well I rubbed it andtalked to him and cuddled him. Now whenever he wants attention (*which is all the time!) He limps!

Ban the Poms! They are Evil!! :evilbat: Evil incarnate!! I realize that the site is against BSL, but I wish they would provide some info about the hows and the whens...
Exactly! And yes, poms are pure evil, What next, flesh eating chiuauas?
Well we should all get rid of our daqngerous pets and get something safe like hamsters

I have never read that before. I have in my life adopted puppies from pounds and retrieved lost dogs from pounds but it always makes me cry because I can't take them all, as I walk away I know with a sinking heart that more then half of those furry faces won't be there in a few days.

When The dog's Christmas stocking is bigger than the grandkids! When you spend money on stuff for the dogs and try to keep how much a secret from your husband

Well, what else? a fire dog! Find a childs yellow slicker and a plastic fire hat... let your imagination take it from there
