Oh man! Where do I begin? :lol: I do all kinds of silly things for my dog. I arrange my schedule around his. I rarely go out in the evenings because I already feel guilty being gone all day. At the vet's, they're going to have to start filing our folder in a separate drawer just for us because it's getting so thick. I have only had him for 7 months and we have been to the vet's 15 times already-and that doesn't include neutering. I take him in for any bump, lump, cough, or anything unusual I see. I have a bed or pillows set up for him to sleep on in every room I go in. I bought those sun shade things to put in the car window. Oh my gosh I could go on and on...... :roll: :lol:

I'd call the vet but it is after hours so I can't. Don't know what to do. :(

Bogart got bit by a spider today and his eyelid swelled up a lot. Took him to he vet and he gave him an antihistamine shot and told me to give hims some benedryl before he goes to bed. Well I looked on the package and it says an adult dosage is 1-2 tablets, well I am almost positive the vet said give 3. That seems like a lot. Does anyone know? He weighs 70 pounds. Thanks so much!!!

I wouldn't care. I don't feel that everyone should have to like bulldogs. If someone wants to say "I don't like bulldogs" to me, I'd probably say up yours and walk away, but not get all upset because he voiced his/her opinion to me.

I feed Solid Gold and Bogart does extremely well on it.

Ok last comment from me on this thread-haha, I promise. But my point was, WHY are you letting it bother you? I guess I just have the idea that everyone has the right to their opinion AND has the right to state it. Why are some people letting it hurt their feelings? I gues I just don't understand that. Personally I though K's original response of "up yours" was brilliant. She didn't get all sensitive and defensive about it. She accepted his opinion and made an opinion herself about his response. I thought it was funny. But then the posts after that get ridiculous. Who cares, who cares, who cares if Jarrod doesn't like bulldogs and who cares if he stated his opinion about it.

Well if everyone is so happy and content then why are you guys letting this bother you? Like I said in my previous post, who cares!! I own a bulldog and do not feel bothered that Jarrod does not like my breed of dog. I'll say it again, who cares if someone states they do not like your breed of dog!!!!!!! And isn't this a discussion forum where all opinions are allowed?

I don't think Jarrod was being ballistic. Hey if he wants to dislike bulldogs, what the heck, who cares. Bogart and I would like to say up yours to Jarrod and Blitz too, but beyond that Boges and I don't really care if he chooses not to like bulldogs. He has his reasons and that is that. No need to start a debate about it. Sometimes people are easily offended and self righteous..I say relax and who cares what someone else thinks. You love your dog and that is all that should matter.
